What do you do at number8?
At number8, I play a pivotal role in driving our clients toward achieving their business objectives through strategic software initiatives. I leverage my 17+ years of expertise within the IT industry to orchestrate tailored solutions that align seamlessly with our clients’ needs and aspirations. Whether optimizing project management processes, enhancing software development workflows, or fostering collaboration among distributed teams, my primary focus remains on delivering tangible results that propel our clients toward success.

Have you had other jobs within the industry?
Yes, I have 17 years of experience in various areas of IT (from IT project and managed services work to cloud and SaaS to managed network and hosted voice, custom software to now nearshore staff augmentation)

What is your latest accomplishment or proudest moment at number8?
I helped to establish and implement various processes aimed at boosting productivity for our consultants and clients. It’s been a rewarding journey, and I’m thrilled to witness the positive impact these initiatives have had on our operations.

What is the most interesting project that you’ve ever been involved with in your job?
I’d have to say the most interesting project I’ve been involved in was the Costa Rica team gathering. It was a transformative experience for all of us. We worked extremely hard for three days (Wed – Fri nonstop). On Saturday, we spent the entire day exploring, going to the tropical forest, and doing all the fun stuff. We were hugging with tears when we were leaving. Nobody wanted it to end. It truly showcased the power of collaboration and camaraderie within our team.

What do you like most about your job?
Number8 is not “what I do”; it is “who I am.”

We are not afraid of new ideas to better ourselves and our internal processes. What is your favorite thing to do outside of work?
Travel to meet new people and explore different cultures to learn from my experiences so I can better serve those around me.

I am usually quite serious at work but can be fun outside of work and never run out of energy.
