Andrés Meza is a Technical Team Manager at number8, located in Costa Rica. He has been with the company since January 2012 and has 16 years of experience as a software engineer. He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Costa Rica, a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Universidad Latina of Costa Rica, and is a Cisco Certified Network Associate.
Andrés specializes in API designs (Node.js, .Net) and DevOps with cloud services. He has experience leading and growing teams of tech leads and consultants and has a focus on client work and supporting/designing the architecture of internal projects. His main motivations at work include being part of the experience of a growing company, being around great people and having a voice, and helping the company succeed.
Andrés is proud of his contributions to transforming the time tracking tool at number8 and of creating a human computer interaction architecture that was published in an European scientific conference. He values his family, friends, and health outside of work and enjoys working out, education, solo time exploring technology that turns into things we use here at number8.
