Amanda holds a MBA and MDE from the University of Maryland. Prior to joining the number8 team, she spent 5 years in media sales for tv, print, and digital campaigns and an additional 5 years in project management and sales roles for higher education companies. She loves working in sales because she gets to share her passion for helping businesses succeed with her customers every day. When she’s not hamming it up with number8 clients, you can find her rooting on her favorite sports teams, the Philadelphia Eagles and Louisville Cardinals.

Tim attended the University of Dayton where he received a degree in finance in 2010. After college, Tim spent 10 years working in sales and consulting for several IT software companies. Tim believes that understanding a client’s unique needs and problems helps to build the right solution. He enjoys problem-solving for his customers and achieving measurable results. In his free time, Tim enjoys playing golf, watching Dayton Flyers basketball and cheering on cursed Cleveland sports teams.

Adriane received a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication from the University of Louisville. Before joining number8, she has 10 years of sales experience in a variety of industries ranging from manufacturing to distribution. Adriane is passionate about establishing and cultivating customer relationships and long-lasting partnerships. She believes in providing an excellent customer experience and understanding individual needs to best support her clients. In her free time, Adriane enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also loves music, traveling, and cooking.
Development Manager
Cindy has over 13 years of Software Development experience focused in Frontend and C#. She has extensive experience working with remote teams across different countries even before joining Number 8 and is passionate about helping others. Cindy started as a Team Lead then quickly moved to Team Manager and is now our Development Manager sharing her expertise and helping with internal training. When she is not at work, Cindy enjoys music and cats.

Mauricio has been with number8 (nearly) from the time we started operations in Costa Rica back in 2008. He is a talented developer and software architect with a focus in .Net, C# and Java/Scala. Mau holds a computer engineering degree from the Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica and a master’s degree from the Universidad de Costa Rica. He also has an MBA from Universidad Hispanoamericana and is known for his great sense of humor and animal training skills. In fact, Mau was even able to teach his cat how to say his name.

Kate has over 10 years of extensive experience in customer facing IT roles. In addition to her customer support roles, she also has 5 years of custom software development and scrum experience. She is most passionate about helping companies achieve their business goals with the help of technology. Kate is multilingual and loves to travel and immerse herself in the culture of the places she visits.

Monica has a bachelor’s in business administration and is a certified project manager. She has 8 years of experience working with clients from around the world in social compliance, project management and IT business analysis. In that time, she learned the importance of building good relationships, communicating, and going the extra mile to solve problems and provide client satisfaction. She believes in setting personal goals and taking responsibility for her life. In addition to her successful career in IT, she’s passionate about interior design, her dogs, and baking macaroons. She also really enjoys escaping to the beach whenever she can.

Tina has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and a Master’s Degree in Business & Logistics Management. With over 8 years in the IT Industry, Tina has experience in Business Analysis, Project Management and everything Scrum related. Tina enjoys building relationships with clients and ensuring that their needs are understood and satisfied, making sure client expectations are met in a timely fashion. In her free time, she enjoys camping with her dog or staying at home watching a good movie. What Tina loves most is traveling and discovering new places.

Grazzia has a degree in Psychology from Unitec in San Pedro Sula and is certified in IT project management. Prior to working at number8, she was an application analyst and project manager. Grazzia is instrumental in keeping the relationships between clients and consultants moving in the right direction. She enjoys having the opportunity to improve her communication skills as she talks with clients and consultants on a daily basis. In her free time, Grazzia enjoys reading, writing blogs, and listening to podcasts. Although she enjoys cooking, she can’t seem to learn how to bake to save her life.

With a major in Finance and an MBA, Juan is a problem solver with strong communication skills. With more than 5 years of experience in customer-facing environments and B2B sales, he has perfected his active listening skills to understand and prevent problems before they happen. Juan is dependable, flexible, and motivated, making him an ideal account manager. He thinks the key to success in a client-facing role is building strong, transparent relations with external clients as well as internal clients. In his free time, Juan enjoys spending time doing outdoor activities like going to parks, attending concerts, running or exercising, and watching sports. He also plays the piano and practices every day.

Ricardo is a young adult with over five years of experience as a Marketing professional, in which he has worked closely managing clients and providers. He recently graduated from EAE Business School with a Master’s in Digital Marketing and E-Commerce. Working in the tech industry has been one of his biggest passions, solving problems and keeping clients and providers happy. During his free time, he enjoys watching history documentaries, comedies, and musicals, and aiding in social causes, specifically regarding the LGBTQ+ community.

Nelly has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Tourism and over 10 years of experience in customer service and people management. Her goals are to provide excellent customer service to her teammates and clients. Nelly aspires to get involved in software development as well as project management, by studying for her Masters in Project Management. During her spare time, she loves to go to church, listening to music, spending time with her family/friends and swimming.

Natalie has a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and a Master’s in International Business. Her working experience in customer service and IT Project Management have helped her development as an Engagement Manager in number8, ensuring smooth onboarding for consultants when joining their new clients. In her personal time, Natalie enjoys watching movies, traveling, jogging and spending time with her rescues.

Before joining Number8, Alejandra worked as a Group Coordinator for over 05 years in the Customer Service area in the hospitality business. She believes that Customer Service should create an experience and always strive to exceed customer expectations. Alejandra feels organizing is a key for all tasks and processes so they can be fulfilled in the best way. Alejandra would like to learn more about Project Management. In my free time, she loves to spend time with her family and friends, go to the beach, and play soccer.

Karen has a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and over six years of experience in Fraud Data Analysis. Her trajectory as an IT Business Analyst, Fraud Data Analyst, and QA has allowed her to develop extraordinary attention to detail and the skills to effectively manage relationships with a wide range of stakeholders at all business levels. She would like to continue advancing her professional career by pursuing Agile Project Management and further applying her creative problem-solving abilities. In her spare time, Karen loves to travel and enjoys spending time with her family and her pets, Gia and Misifu, always finding time to help the occasional stray cat or dog whenever she can.

Alexa is a top-notch, effective Project Manager and Certified Scrum Master with more than five years of experience leading software development projects and cross-functional teams. She has an unmatched sense of responsibility and ownership for her team and their results when managing IT projects. Without proper advisory, planning, and oversight, these projects can quickly go off the rails. According to Alexa, little else can compare to participating in a significant software development project, from the earliest planning stage to completion, which is complemented by her enjoyment of the beauty of creating something out of nothing.
